CompWALK will once again be exhibiting and attending this year’s Food Safety Summit in Rosemont, Illinois from May 8-11, 2017. Don’t miss the food industry’s largest professional conference around food safety. Our team will be on the exhibit floor at Booth #127, giving live demonstrations of the CompWALK platform and discussing the importance of online inspections and rapid information sharing for heightened food safety operations.
About the Conference
The Food Safety Summit is a solution-based conference and expo designed to meet the educational and informational needs of the food industry including growers, processors, retailers, distributors, foodservice operators, regulators and academia. The Summit provides a 3-day comprehensive educational program to learn from subject matter experts, trainers, exchange ideas and find solutions to your current job challenges. The Food Safety Summit returns to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois in early May.
Solutions Stage Presentation
We will be presenting an exclusive demonstration of CompWALK including tips on implementing a food safety structure that focuses on analyzing hazards and risk-based preventive controls through the use of advance technology and online inspections. Learn how the platform automates a pattern of continuous monitoring, corrective actions and verification across your organization’s operations.
The presentation will be on Thursday, May 11th at 1:30pm in the Solutions Stage Theater
The Solutions Stage Theaters are located on the back right wall of the exhibit floor, next to the 900 row of booths. During our presentation we will also discuss how continuous monitoring of temperature is tied directly into the platform utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) temperature devices with configurable alerts and emails sent directly to your inbox.
Exhibiting For Good
Once again, we will be donating the television at our booth to a local Chicago charity in our efforts to #Exhibit4Good. Last year, we donated this flat screen television to Doris Greenhouse of Dgreenhouse Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing permanent stable/safe housing, education, jobs and supportive services for low-income and homeless women veterans and their families who are in need.
This year, we have chosen Youth Outreach Services, a nonprofit organization focused on helping at-risk youth in the Chicago area to reach their potential. For almost 60 years, YOS’ focus has been on caring for teens that face challenges at home, in school and in the community.
The television will be used in the transitional living residential home for boys. The Transitional Living Program serves youth ages 17 to 19 who are involved in the child welfare system, who are working towards completing their high school degree or GED and who are referred through the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services.
See How We’re Improving Food Safety from Farm to Fork
The CompWALK platform helps retail, foodservice, manufacturing and distribution manage food safety operations. Currently, we are working on expanding the food safety management services we provide to help farmers. Our goal is to simplify convoluted farm food safety regulations and provide an affordable solution to better manage these operations.
